back to square one

over the week...
i watched a lot of movies and tv programs highlighting women...
woman right..empowering woman...cougar.....
some are quite inspiring to me...to see how these women...
against all odds...strive for betterment of their lives...

my last entry..i touched bout "cougar"..
how society is degrading the women to the extend of animal level....
and this entry...
i want to highlight how our "foremothers" (forefathers...definitely not serving the purpose here)
have fought for equal right...the right to be heard..the right to be counted in the majority..
and the right to have a say in governing...

it was a movie...quite late at night at HBO..
a movie about Alice Paul and Lucy Burn..the founder of National Women Party (NWP)
these two ladies were suffragists.......
a movement fighting for the right for women to vote in US...
they were the first ladies to hold picket in front of the White House during the reign of
president Wilson.

they were so determined...hardworking and never yield in pursuing what was right...
they held hunger strike...beaten up in prison....
and finally won

what strike me the most about these amazing ladies...
is how they showed solidarity ....
fighting as one..willing to sacrifice in order to protect their leader...
the need to protect their leader was important to ensure their fight would never end....

looking at my life...
it is quite sad...that after all the struggle that our foremothers had gone through..
after a solid foundation had been laid for all women.....
still there is one feature that is hard to let go.....
"dengki" and "busuk hati"....
hehehehhe i need to switch to BM becoz it is quite difficult to find 2 strong and powerful words to
describe them in english. i notice, men are more layback and cool....that is why i think they are
calmer and cool all the time...

but women....24/7 are busy finding faults or flaws of others...
then with their 24/7-non-stop-mouths will spread all true-false-not-so-true rumours about
others
what more sickening.....they are proud with what they have accomplished

i truly need to have my very own "ops ramadan".......need to shut my mouth
