to explore and experience things that i only saw and read......
things that sometimes i doubted their mere existance.....
as they are always surrounded by myths and folklore....
one of my favourite countries is italy.....
during matriculation...we learnt "merchant of Venice"...by shakespeares...
we read about ponte rialto.....as "ponte" means bridge...
i could never imagine back then that venice is surrounded by water....
the image of gondola..is like a movie set.....
but as i set my feet in venice.....
i was ...............ermmm...
beautiful and old!!!!
i remember ida and aida were busy buying scarf here....heheheh
while walking around venice..i saw a house...
the label read....Cassanova.....
OMG.....Cassanova is not merely a word......it was someone's name...
and this person had lived his life in venice....
remarkable is it????
i believe leaning tower of pisa is in tuscany, italy.
i always read about it when i was a child...
i remember that i stood for quite some times...mesmerized by the sight of this tower...
i could not believe that i had the opportunity to see it with my own eyes..
then we when to florence....
famous with leather market...
i bought a wallet for my dad, a handbag for my big sister.....
all designer's stuff...armani, gucci and basic stuff such as benetton and guess...
i bought armani jeans and benetton.....
no wonder people love to shop in Milan....italy is cheap...
even their policemen are wearing armani and versace....
but why not...
they are just soo damn good lookking..
talking bout tall, dark and handsome.....
we went to verona...
the famous scene for shakespeares's romeo and juliet...
we went to juliet's house.....
notice the bronze stature at the yard???
that is juliet...if u touch her breast...it suppossed to bring good luck....
really glad that i have the opportunity to see all these...
more to comes...
motipnye: a big bus of malaysian students...travelled together for almost 13 days to experience 6 countries....enjoyed the trip..but i hate the part of sleeping in a sleeping bag during the beginning of autumn season.....sooooo cooolllddddddd......
